At present, there are 3000 fresh food merchants, of whom there are about 200 e-merchants that engaged in the food safety. Among these e-merchants are there some relatively famous ones as follows: Benlai.com, Taobao Fresh Channel, kp7.cn, and yhd.com are inspection-oriented. Tootoo.cn is authentication-oriented. Bentian78.com and Share the Harvest Fair Trade Platform are PGS-oriented. Beijing juebu.org and Changsha lmx99.com are corporate governance-oriented. The Baidu transparent kitchen project online is one of the most famous food safety projects, but it does not work well now. They ever visited 150 catering enterprises. Only 15 of them finally agree with their project of transparent kitchens. However, they did not well in interacting with consumers. In all, the operation of almost all of these e-merchants is difficult.

Our uniqueness lies in the fact that we steadily carry out our project of the community popularization. We tried to start from the smallest change and little by little we will make a difference. Our comprehensive practice is in the lead position in the food market.

Our competitiveness of the market comes from our core staff’s experience of public benefit and the openness of the project (Replication of this project is welcome). They deeply understand the essence of the corporate governance. They understand that supervision measures will cause the interpersonal tension which makes people uncomfortable. They also know that a system of checks and balances is necessary in a healthy enterprise. They focus on the shift from the model of mutual non-interference and mutual hurt to the model of mutual supervision and mutual restriction between food producers and consumers. They conclude that the food safety is a management project first, rather than an IT or high-tech one.
